Cook/Chef:

Cook Job Summary: The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities: • Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations • Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc. • Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift • Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system • Cooking order according to food health and safety standards • Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes • Handling multiple food orders at one time • Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive • Dressing order for presentation • Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides • Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner • Storing all food properly • Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils • Reordering stock and food supplies • Monitoring other cooks and team members • Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed

Qualifications/Requirements: • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently • Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift • Self-motivated and self-directed • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks • Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders • High school degree or equivalent • Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience • Legally able to work in establishments which serve alcohol • Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds or more • Must pass a background check • Able to read and write

Education/Training/Experience: • At least 1 year restaurant cooking experience

Waiter/Waitress

Waiter/Waitress Job Summary: We are seeking a personable waiter or waitress to join our team. In this position, you will create an intimate and high-quality dining experience for  guests. You will answer customers’ questions, assist them with their choices, take their orders, and deliver their meals with a smile. We are looking for a candidate who is warm, and calm under pressure, and who knows how to be a team player, and work with urgency throughout the shift.

Duties/Responsibilities: • Take orders and serve patrons beer, spirits, wine, or beverages, maintaining a high level of customer service • Inform customers of daily specials and answer questions as needed from customers • Understand and process orders and payments on our POS system • Maintain working knowledge of each menu item, including basic ingredients, preparation and potential allergens • Know and understand the fundamentals of our beers, spirits, wine list and proper beer & wine service; attend continuing beer and spirit education • Work as a team with other staff to ensure a smooth and successful working environment • Immediately report any guest concern to the manager • Complete all necessary side work for each shift as determined by your manager • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements: • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Indiana ATC server’s permit (may be 19 or 20 if individual has a restricted employee permit issued by ATC) • Strong customer service skills and friendly personality • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Ability to remain calm under pressure or when dealing with disgruntled customers • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with managers, and dining room personnel at all times • Ability to be a strong team player and get along well with co-workers • Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, use hands lift up to 40 pounds regularly • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holiday • Must pass a background check • Able to read and write

Education/Training/Experience: • At least 1 year restaurant serving experience

Bar Tender

Bar Tender Job Summery: The bartender is responsible for maintaining the bar area and filling drink orders for restaurant and bar patrons. This position must have extensive knowledge of Fish Moon beers, wine and spirits. Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and monitoring patrons for signs that they have had too much alcohol are also skills required to do this position well. Providing top-notch customer service while maintaining control of the bar, serving drinks and managing the financials require attention to detail and extreme focus. At the end of each night, the bartender will cash-out the cash drawer, making sure it balances with the POS system and note any discrepancies.

Duties/Responsibilities: • Prepare craft drinks, correctly pour beer, and maintaining a working knowledge of each menu item including ingredients and potential allergens • Know and understand the fundamentals of our beers, spirits, wine list and proper beer & wine service; attend continuing beer and spirit education • Understand and process orders and payments on our POS system • Work as a team with other staff to ensure a smooth and successful working environment • Ensure each guest is treated with the best possible customer service • Immediately report any guest concern to the manager • Complete all necessary side work for each shift as determined by your manager • Other duties as assigned
